6G-VERSUS was featured at BBC media!

On the 2nd of December, Dr. Kamran Mahroof, from University of Bradford partenr, had the opportunity to present the ‘Greek Pilot’ during a BBC Radio interview with Charles Heslett.
He explained the Greek Pilot scenario, where drones and robotic dogs assist search and rescue teams, making their work easier and safer during wildfires or at the early stages of a fire. He also highlighted the importance of 6G connectivity, which enables all necessary devices to respond promptly and transmit data from remote areas.
Finally, when asked, he emphasized that while the Greek Pilot is a trial, the project’s main goal is to provide European countries, including the UK, with the know-how to adapt these solutions to their own infrastructures.
