During TechWeek 2025, hosted by Aveiro Municipality in Portugal (6-12 October), a key highlight was the co-organised workshop by OneSource, Consultoria Informรกtica Lda and Instituto Pedro Nunes, entitled โ๐๐ฏ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ธ๐ข๐บ ๐ต๐ฐ 6๐ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ฆ๐น๐ข๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ด ๐ช๐ฏ ๐ด๐ฐ๐ค๐ช๐ฆ๐ต๐บโ.
In this Workshop:
Sรฉrgio Figueiredo from IPN presented 6G-VERSUS and the Portuguese pilot, concluding with a call for the active involvement of diverse societal stakeholders, including:
- National Ports
- Environment organizations
- Ports service providers & logistics companies
- Smart infrastructure operators
- Local associations, groups, and citizens
One Source and Luรญs Cordeiro demonstrated the Mobitrust platform, which will be featured in the Portuguese pilot trials, showcasing practical applications of emerging technologies.
The workshop highlighted the importance of collaboration across sectors to ensure 6G technologies are effectively deployed and benefit society. Finally, the workshop brought together multiple Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) projects and other initiatives, fostering discussion, knowledge exchange, and collaboration across the 6G ecosystem.
