Prof. Pedro Merino Gomez from the University of Malaga participated at Expo AgriTech 2026, held atMálaga, from 3-5 November 2026. In this context, he participated in the panel “Connectivity for Rural Areas: Value Proposition”, engaging with 50+ attendees to discuss the opportunities and impact of advanced connectivity in rural communities.
Pedro highlighted the ongoing activities of 6G-VERSUS within the Spanish cluster, demonstrating how 6G technologies can support agricultural innovation and improve digital infrastructure.The panel was part of the larger Expo AgriTech, which brings together thousands of agritech professionals, farmers, and industry stakeholders to explore emerging trends in precision agriculture and Field 4.0 technologies.
