On 14 January 2026, the Portuguese Cluster of the 6G-VERSUS project held a pre-trial session at the Port of Aveiro Administration to finalize preparations for the upcoming full-scale trial with stakeholders.
The session brought together teams from OneSource, IT Aveiro, JSIO, IPN, and the port authority to conduct final technical tests and scenario rehearsals.
End-to-end connectivity, real-time data exchange, AI-based processing, and application-layer coordination were validated under near-operational conditions. The teams also rehearsed the full demonstration workflow, ensuring technical stability and clear role alignment.
This pre-trial milestone confirms the readiness of the integrated solution and paves the way for a smooth and impactful full-scale trial event.
