On the 11th March 2026, the Portuguese Cluster of the 6G-VERSUS project carried out a pre-trial session at the Port of Aveiro, bringing together project partners and local stakeholders to prepare the second trial of the cluster’s experimental activities.
The session involved teams from OneSource, IT Aveiro, JSIO, and IPN, working in close collaboration with the Port of Aveiro Administration. The objective was to rehearse the operational workflow of the upcoming trial of the Portuguese cluster use case on March 25, while also conducting technical validation activities. During the session, the partners tested the integration of the system components and verified end-to-end connectivity and application functionality. In parallel, operational data was collected to support the evaluation of the scenario and to further refine the AI-based processing and platform capabilities.
This pre-trial activity allowed the cluster to identify final technical adjustments, refine the demonstration workflow, and ensure operational readiness ahead of the full trial event with stakeholders.
